HELLO! I AM AIDA LORA, FOUNDER OF AIDA LORA DESIGN STUDIO.

Since childhood, I’ve been driven by a fascination with art, design, sustainability, and architecture. Today, I channel that lifelong passion through Aida Lora Design Studio. For the past six years, my studio has been committed to delivering high-impact, goal-oriented interior architecture, with a specialized focus on multifamily developments, hospitality, and commercial office projects. By bridging high-level design expertise with operational functionality, we create spaces that perform as beautifully as they look.

My professional foundation was built on a bachelor’s degree in architecture from Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra in the Dominican Republic, followed by a move to Miami in 2013 to pursue a Master’s in Interior Architecture with a Certificate in Yacht and Cruise Ship Design from FIU. I am also a LEED Green Associate, a distinction I earned in 2015 to underscore my commitment to sustainable building practices.

Prior to establishing the studio, I gained extensive experience collaborating with renowned architectural and interior design firms on large-scale projects for major global brands, including Hilton Hotels, IHG, Shell Oil HQ, Royal Caribbean, Celebrity, TUI Cruises, and Baha Mar. With over 12 years of experience spanning hospitality, cruise ship interiors, and corporate environments, I guarantee a project delivery that is both strategic and vision-aligned.

My dedication to the industry goes beyond the drawing board. As a Registered Interior Designer in Florida (NCIDQ) and an advocate for professional excellence, I have been deeply involved in the design community, including teaching at the Miami International School of Art and Design. My commitment to leadership has been recognized throughout my career from receiving the IIDA Bragg Award for “Star of the Year” in 2020 to serving on the advisory boards for the Sustainable Design Summit and the FIU School of Architecture and Arts. Most recently, I am honored to have been named the Interior Designer of the Year 2026 by the IIDA South Florida Chapter, a milestone that reflects the standard of excellence Aida Lora Design Studio brings to every client partnership.

Whether I am consulting for a large-scale multifamily developer or designing a boutique hotel lobby, my goal remains the same: to deliver spaces that function flawlessly.
