AIDA LORA,
FOUNDER OF AIDA LORA DESIGN STUDIO.
Since childhood, I’ve been fascinated by art, design, sustainability, and architecture. Today, I bring that passion to life through Aida Lora Design Studio, creating high-impact interior architecture for multifamily, hospitality, and commercial projects. My approach bridges thoughtful design with operational functionality to create spaces that perform as beautifully as they look.
My professional journey began with a bachelor's degree in Architecture from Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra in the Dominican Republic. After moving to Miami in 2013, I earned a Master's in Interior Architecture and a Certificate in Yacht and Cruise Ship Design from FIU. I am also a LEED Green Associate and a Registered Interior Designer in Florida (NCIDQ).
With over 12 years of experience, I have collaborated with leading architectural and interior design firms on projects for global brands including Hilton Hotels, IHG, Shell Oil, Royal Caribbean, Celebrity, TUI Cruises, and Baha Mar.
My commitment to design extends beyond client work through teaching, industry leadership, and service within the design community. My career has been recognized with the IIDA Bragg Award for Star of the Year in 2020, and most recently, I was honored as the 2026 Interior Designer of the Year by the IIDA South Florida Chapter.
At Aida Lora Design Studio, design is more than aesthetics, it is purposeful. Whether consulting on a large-scale development or designing a boutique hospitality space, my goal is always the same: to transform a client's vision into spaces that function flawlessly and leave a lasting impact.
